7 Ways to Rediscover Your True Passion after Divorce

Going through a divorce is a very challenging time in a person's life. It is hard to adjust to being single again, as well as living "out of the habit" of being married, especially if you have been married for many, many years.

Eventually, you begin to think about dating, but it is suggested that you take your time. Use this precious opportunity to rediscover yourself. Think of this time in your life as an adventure to explore the real you. If you have worked outside the home combined with being a mom and wife for the last ten, fifteen or twenty years, you may have lost yourself along the way. Certainly not on purpose, but as most women try to do it all as "super" moms, many times we put our own wants and needs on hold to keep our families and jobs running smoothly!

Take a deep breath and let's start to rediscover our true passions and say... Will the Real Me Please Stand Up!

Getting Back To Basics.

While we all agree that there`s way too much spamming/junk-mailing going on in our email boxes, there are a couple of things we can do to reduce the amount of mails we actually have to sift through, without having to resort to paying for expensive software that can be a real pain to set up properly.

Firstly, and this is a great, little known tip. You can get yourself a free email account, (the bigger the better) which is a great thing to have if you use a lot of FFA`s, Classified sites, Search Engine Submittable etc. When you create the junk mail account, be sure to save the information you`ve used to create it with into a Word pad/Notepad file.

When the account is full, flit through it quickly, just to make sure there`s nothing of real importance there. If there is, copy and paste it to your favorite text document. Then just go ahead and delete the whole junk mail account. You`ve saved the info you used to create it with in the first place, so it`ll only take a couple of minutes to re-create it.

The Great Spam Scam: Five Strategies To Stop Brand and Revenue Robbery

Marketers usually think of anti-spam tactics as 'how to prevent' readers from perceiving their e-communications as spam. There is another, more sinister, consequence that may affect you. Spam is not just an inconvenience. For legitimate businesses, it steals productivity, erode your brand, and rob you of revenue.

Many companies have no idea their products are being sold on the black market or their customers are tangled in credit card frauds thinking they ordered something from your organization and are about to receive zip. These shifty sales schemes cost companies billions of dollars each year in lost customers and sales of products and services.

While Aunt Margaret may have served Hormel canned pork (SPiced hAM referred to as Spam), like it or not, you knew what was in it. With Internet spam (unsolicited bulk email or unsolicited multiple postings to one or more Usenet newsgroups), you don't always know what you're getting. Some spam messages are convincing. Some are plain annoying. Whether spicy or not, many of them result in criminal offenses on a worldwide level.

Phishing for an Identity

Phishing is rapidly becoming on the largest threats to your personal, financial, and emotional well being. No I am not talking about Saturday afternoons out on the boat with your grandfather, listening to stories that being with "When I was your age?"-now while these probably conjure up horrific childhood memories of such stores, they in no way come close to the horror felt by victims of Phishing.

Phishing (fish'ing ? to trick people into providing their personal and financial information by pretending to be from a legitimate company, agency or organization) is a fairly new scam propagating itself on the internet in many different forms. Each has the same sole purpose of convincing you to volunteer your personal and financial information and hand if over to these crooks.

One such attack was targeting PayPal (www.PayPal.com) customers, by sending out mass email (spam) stating that there had been a security breach and the account has been suspended until you verify some information. Well this may sound reasonable, but the truth behind this was it was not from PayPal; rather a carefully orchestrated scam to capture your PayPal username and password, credit card information, debt card pin number, mailing address, and social security number among others. What made these even scarier was the fact that the message was designed so well-using PayPal's logo and website layout perfectly-that even I had to take a second look. This convinced people of the legitimacy of the message and prompted individuals-estimated in the thousands-to happily provide their information over to the scammer.

Blog Problems

What in the world is up with the world of blogs? Blogs are meant to be this great new technology where people can share their ideas and interests with others around the globe. As far as I'm concerned the state of blogs is one of chaos, confusion, and anti-interactivity. The other day I decided to do some research on the Web and try to connect to some blog writers out there that interested me. Let me tell you it was not an enjoyable task as I had envisioned. I spent four painful hours surfing through around a thousand on-line journals, and I found only a few that interested me.

What are we doing out there people? First of all, just getting to a blog can be a pain in the arse. For example, you type in the words 'Philosophy blogs' and a whole bunch of sites come up. Some are conglomerate sites with thousands of journals, but the area you're searching for may have only one blog in it! This is because they separate the blogs into a million different categories, like 'love', 'lovers', 'lovable' etc. Why not have just a few main categories to choose from? The next problem is the content. People with 'philosophical' blogs are having personal chats with their mates about the local dance competition on Tuesday! Why not go to a chat room if you just want to talk to your friends? Blogs are supposed to be a personal viewpoint expressed to the whole Web community. Wouldn't you actually like to meet more people like yourself? How is this going to happen if you talk in strange uncommon slang and acronyms that you and your friends can only understand? Please stick to the subject at hand, and take it at least half seriously. Another major problem is the fact that you can find a really cool blog that sparks an interest, but then find that the writer hasn't added an entry in over a year! What's it doing on the Net? Have these people passed away? I seriously doubt it, as there are so many blogs in this 'lost' state. Having a blog is a responsibility; it's a shared diary for the whole community.

Writing Quality Blogs

Writing? Blogs? Blogs are on-line journals where people express themselves through writing. Writing? Writing is the process where one puts down words of a language on a format that others can read. This process has not been around very long, to use one of my writing teacher's favorite sayings, "Writing has only existed for one day in the one year that humanity has existed." Speaking and thinking come much easier than writing.
These processes just flow out naturally like a river of consciousness; sometimes we hardly have to think about doing them. Anyone and everyone can write words down on paper but that doesn't mean it's 'good writing', myself included. Like most things in life, our society already takes writing for granted which is proving to expose more of our ignorance. Writing is a new form of expression, and if we want to do it in a way that the masses can connect with our ideas, we have to think much more simply and clearly about this art.

Are You Willing To Follow Eight Yoga Exercises For the Lower Back?

EXERCISES FOR BACK RELIEF
Many people believe that rest is best for a painful back, but actually, what your back really needs when it's hurt is exercise. Regular exercise relieves back pain by strengthening and stretching the muscles that support the spine and helps to prevent future injury. This is a use it or lose it situation: the more you rest, the weaker your back gets, even if it is hurt. Studies have actually shown that you can heal your back pain faster and get back to your regular activities with just two days of rest. This article will focus on Yoga Exercises. Remember to contact your doctor before beginning any exercise program.

YOGA EXERCISES FOR YOUR BACK
A good, regular yoga practice will go far in relieving the stress and tension that sometimes cause mild back pain, and in fact, studies have shown that yoga is the number one most effective exercise for relieving back pain. However, not all yoga poses relieve back pain, and some can in fact aggravate existing pain, so it is important to know which poses will be most helpful in relieving back pain. It is best to do these exercises under the supervision of a certified yoga instructor, and if you encounter any problems with these poses, you should consult an expert. Even just one or two sessions with a yoga instructor can help, as an instructor will help you with your form and posture during poses. Here are some of the best yoga poses for relieving back pain. Each pose should be held from five to ten seconds, depending upon your level of comfort, and should be done on a mat or other soft, supportive surface.

Some Tantric Exercises to Increase General Well-Being and Sexual Abilities

A healthy anal and genital area is of great importance both for the general well-being and for the sexual abilities. The same is threw about a healthy respiratory tract and breathing apparatus. Here are presented two poses and three breathing exercises that have the following effects when done together in a series:

-They stimulate the physiological functions of the genital and anal area.
-They correct muscle weakness and anatomical problems of the anal and genital region.
-They increase the sexual drive and abilities.
-They produce a stimulating response that spreads upwards along the spine and revitalizes the whole body.
-The exercises are very good to start each day with, or to do before going to bed in the night.

POSE 1

-Stand on your hands and knees upon the floor.
-Kneel backward so that your buttocks go backward and down towards your feet and stretch your arms foreword.
-Breath out and then take a deep breath in, filling your lungs totally with air. Hold your breath with the air inside.
-Squeeze your anal muscles and pull your anal opening as deeply inward as you can. However do not strain when squeezing. This exercise shall not be exhausting.
-Relax your anal muscles completely again.
-Repeat the sqeesing and relaxing 3-5 times, but not so long that you go out of oxygen in your body.
-Empty your lungs.
-Rise up on your hands and knees again.
-Relax a while in this position and then repeat the exercise.

Hot Yoga - Bikrams Twenty Six

Even though the world population has shifted from mainly rural to mainly urban in the last decade, there are still lots of folks like me who live in the sticks. Doing things like taking a yoga class becomes a different thing in our case from driving to the neighborhood gym. Since I live 40 miles from the nearest town large enough for yoga studios, when I decided to take a class, I was more interested in the schedule than I was the type of yoga. I couldn't afford to be picky if I preferred not to wait around for a couple hours after getting off work. So I looked in the phone book, and didn't pay attention to anything but the schedule. There it was: M-W-F at 4:00. Perfect. I don't know what rock I'd been living under, but the word "Bikram" writ large across the ad in the yellow pages didn't trigger the term 'hot yoga' in my mind, and that left me in for a big surprise.

Apple

Computer hardware is the physical part of a computer, including the digital circuitry, as distinguished from the computer software that executes within the hardware. The hardware of a computer is infrequently changed, in comparison with software and data, which are "soft" in the sense that they are readily created, modified or erased on the computer. Firmware is a special type of software that rarely, if ever, needs to be changed and so is stored on hardware devices such as read-only memory (ROM) where it is not readily changed (and is therefore "firm" rather than just "soft").

Most computer hardware is not seen by normal users. It is in embedded systems in automobiles, microwave ovens, electrocardiograph machines, compact disc players, and other devices. Personal computers, the computer hardware familiar to most people, form only a small minority of computers (about 0.2% of all new computers produced in 2003) Market statistics. The iPod is a brand of portable media players designed and marketed by Apple Computer. Devices in the iPod family are designed around a central scroll wheel (except for the iPod shuffle) and provide a simple user interface.

Sleep

Most people need seven to eight hours of  sleep a night. Some people need less than this, and some people need more. According to sleep expert Dr. Robert Schachter, many people have difficulty sleeping, but they do not know why. Most people know it is important not to drink coffee or tea before they go to bed both beverages have caffeine. Caffeine keeps people awake. However, not everybody knows that some medicines, such as cold tablets, also have caffeine in them. Stress can cause insomnia, too. Busy people with stressful jobs may not be able to sleep at night.
Dr. Schachter suggests. "You shouldn't use your bedroom as a TV room or an exercise room. You should use it for sleeping only. It's a good idea to have a regular sleeping schedule. Get up and go to bed at the same time every day. It's also important not to eat before bedtime. Eating may keep you awake."

And if all this doesn't work, try counting sheep!

Things you can do to help the enviroment

Our environment is in trouble. People and industries are polluting the air, rivers, lakes, and seas. You may think that there's nothing you can do to help. That's not true. In fact, there are many things you can do to help the environment. Here are a few.

CARS
The burning of gasoline is one at the biggest sources of carbon monoxide (CO) in the atmosphere. Some people believe that CO is causing global warming. They think CO thins the ozone layer, which protects us from the sun's rays. So try to walk, bicycle, or use public transportation. And if you drive a car, drive at a steady speed this more efficient than speeding up and slowing down

ENERGY
The biggest use of home energy is for heating and cooling homes. So turn the heat down, especially at night. Replace regular light with fluoresccent or halogen bulbs, which use less energy.

PRODUCTS
Don't use disposable products in a single year, people in United States use enough disposable diapers to reach the moon and back seven times. If you use disposable products, use products made from recycled material. Also, recycled whenever possible. Recycling one aluminum can save enough energy to run a TV for three hours.

WATER
Shower use a lot of water. In one week a typical American family uses as much water as a person drinks in three years! buying a special "low-flow" shower head or taking shorter shower can cut this use in half. Also, fix any leak faucets.

How food gets its name

Many people think the sandwich came from England in the eighteenth century. others say sandwiches are an American invention. The truth is this type of food has been with us for thousands of years. It is only its name that is not very old.
A British nobleman named John Montagn, the Earl of Sandwich (1718-1792), loved to play cards and didn't like to stop his game for meals. When he was hungry, he asked his servant to bring him a piece of meat between two slices of bread, this way he didn't have to use fork and knife, and his hands stayed clean. he gave the sandwich its name, and this way of eating soon became popular in Europe.
Long before then, however, the ancient Romans enjoyed eating meat between two slices of bread. For centuries, people in the Middle East have stuffed barbecued lamb and other tasty things into pita, a type of flat bread with a pocket. A long time before the spaniards arrived in the New World in  the sixteenth century, Mexicans had their own version of the sandwich, thin, round tortillas filled with beans, eggs, and cheese, and then rolled up.
What country do you think of when you hear the word hot dog and hambuger? The United Sates? These kinds of sandwiches are very popular in the U.S., but they were not born there.
The hot dog also came from Germany. During the Middle Ages, European sausage makers developed local recipes and named their sausages after their cities. In 1852, the butcher of Frankfurt, also called the dachshund sausage because it looked like the pet dog of one of butcher. When the frankfurter traveled to America, both its named went with it. Vendor sold it at baseball games, shouting "Get your red-hot dachshund sausage!" A cartoonist named Tad Dragon drew one for his newspaper in 1906. He couldn't spell the world dachshund, so he wrote hot dog instead. This name quickly replaced the others

Lucky to be alive

Hugh and his son, Thomas, lived on the north coast of Jamaica. hugh was a poor fisherman but he had his own small rowing boat. one night he took Thomas fishing with him. they put the fishing rods and lines into the boat and they took enough water and food with them for the night. hugh rowed the boat out to sea and they stared to fish. at first, the water was calm but then the wind began to blow. it grew stronger and storger. it was the start of astorm, a terriel tropical storm.
hugh tried to row back to the coast bur the wind was too strong. he became very worried and then frightened because of the strong winds and rough sea.

in the morning, the sea was calmer but hugh was still verry worried because they couldn't see land. however, he looked at sun shone fiercely and the day become hotter and hotter.
thomas and hugh became thirsty and hungry. thomas drank alittle water and ate some of the food but his father didn't have anything. he said that he was older and he was stronger than his sonwas.
but  his father was wrong, hugh tried to row againbut he couldn't. he was weak and thirsthy beause of the heat of the sun. It was a long day and hugh became weaker

hugh now was too weak to speak and he closed his eyes. Thomas was very worried, but he was so tired that he slept. thomas was now alone.
he spent for days and five nights on the boats. on the fifth morning, while Thomas was asleep under his shelter, a Canadian freighter saw the rowing boat and rescued him. he was a very brave boy and very lucky to be alive but his thoughts stayed on his father

Museum of Fashion

Men's fashion
Men's clothes have change a lot. In the sixteenth century, gentleman's clothes were brightly colored and the cloth was patterned, and embroidered.
In the seventeenth century a wealthy man had silver buckles on his shoes, and lace at the end of his sleeves. He could be fashionable because he was rich.
However, not every fashion started with the wealthy. Trousers were worn by working men in the eighteenth century, but, by the beginning of the nineteenth century, they were also worn by fashionable men.

Women's fashions
Before the twentieth century, European women wore long skirts or dresses. Looking at these dresses, we notice that there is a lot of beautiful embroidery, lace, and decorative work including gold thread and pearls.
after the first world war, woman's fashion changed much more than men's. in the 1920s in Europe many young women began to wear short skirt and very short hair. since Dior launched the New York in 1947, woman's fashion has continued to change rapidly

blogging

Blogging has exploded. Every day 1,500-3,000 new bloggers join the Internet. That's a staggering number of new voices, new opinions, and new experiences. You can join these bloggers — all it takes is some software and something to say. We've written this book to help you quickly get up and running with the software.
There are many different choices for blogging software, with names running the gamut from the obvious (Blogger) to the literary (Movable Type) to the bizarre (Blosxom). Everyone who blogs has an opinion about the software they use and often about software they don't use. This book tries to take a balanced look at some representative blogging tools and to show you how to use them to produce a unique blog worthy of your thoughts.
We start by defining a blog and how the various blogging tools differ in features, price, and ease of use. The first chapter will help you find a blogging system. The second chapter surveys some programs that can make posting and maintaining a blog easier, regardless of which tool you choose.
The rest of the book is devoted to the tools. For each tool, we show you how to install and configure it, post to and maintain your blog, customize your blog's appearance, syndicate stories with other blogs, and customize and manage your archive of old posts.
Generally, it takes two chapters to explain all the functions of each tool. Some products might have very simple posting maintenance but complex templates, or have simple installation but complex syndication. For this reason, the division of material between the introductory and the advanced chapters isn't consistent from product to product.
Finally, we end with advice from experienced bloggers; what to do, what not to do, and how blogging has changed people. We don't provide much information on the philosophy and sociology of blogging — we don't address the question "Is Blogging Journalism?", nor do we try to define just what a warblogger is. Our main objective is to help you select a blog system and get it up and running as soon as possible.
